When you check out lists of the top wireless home entertainments systems then you will notice that the LG DA-W5100 system is often high up on them.
This is a nice looking wireless theatre unit, although to be fair pretty much all of the options in this market are stylish enough to give any home an extra modern touch. The LG DA-W5100 home theatre comes in a highly attractive silver and black design.

As is usual with wireless home theatre systems, you still get a few wires between the speakers, to ensure that they give you the power you need to enjoy your favourite movies in the comfort of your own home without losing out on audio strength. The speakers have a handy connection light which lets you when they are properly connected to the main unit.

The total audio output is 350W, which isn’t the highest you will find but should be more than enough for most of us. The only people who will find this a bit on the low side are those who like to put their films on at an ear shattering level.

The connectivity options are pretty much what you would expect and getting set up and started is easy enough. The unit comes with diagrams to help you get started but a lot of users won’t even need these, we wouldn’t think.

Once you get going you will find that the audio and visual performance is rich and detailed enough to let you sink back into your favourite armchair and really enjoy your entertainment. The surround sound is of a good quality and the images presented are clear and sharp even in dark scenes.

It is a neat system but it isn’t really the most stunning design around, and if you want to find a model on looks alone then you will undoubtedly find others which suit your tastes more. However, for a combination of good value, clean looks and a top performance you will probably be quite happy with the LG DA-W5100 home theatre system.
