3D Home Theater Projector Debuted By Mitsubishi
The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has debuted many great new products in the field of wireless home theater systems. Many manufacturers have used this opportunity to show off new HD televisions, wireless speaker options, and the slimmest blu-ray player available. However, Mitsubishi may take the top with its debut of the HC9000 Diamond 3D Projector. The 3D projector uses a liquid crystal engine that produces 1080p HD resolution. The unit offers minimal fan noise and a lens that adjusts light output based on the scene you are watching. With its 120HZ refresh speed you can enjoy smooth transitions no matter what you watch.
The Diamond 3D projector includes a bulb that is guaranteed to perform a minimum of 4,000 hours when used in conservation mode. In fact, Mitsubishi is actually offering a one year warranty on the projectors bulb. Diamond was designed for seamless operation with input devices such as a blu-ray 3D player or satellite receiver. Included in the system are two HDMI inputs and an RS232 port.
While 3D wireless devices are very popular this year the Diamond projector offers a great feature for a movie room or family room. You can convert your room into a movie theater. Mitsubishi has offered 3D televisions since 2007 but this is the first in what will hopefully be a long line of 3D projectors. The HC9000 Diamond projector will be available sometime before March 2001. However, Mitsubishi did not disclose the MSRP in Vegas today. However, in the fall of 2010 prices were rumored in the UK market. At that time the estimate was 5,000 to 5,900 euro. That’s over 6,000 US dollars, but if you want the latest in 3D technology and a projection size over 100 inches the Diamond is top of the line.
